Pamela Richarde, MCC
A dedicated learner, Pamela has an eclectic background, having explored multiple disciplines. Passionate about delving into unknown territories, the last 30 years have found Pamela spending her time and energies on Coaching and training in this emerging field. A founding member of Coach U, Inc., the Association of Coach Training Organizations (ACTO) and the now global organization, The International Coaching Federation.
During her early work with Coach U, Inc., Pamela significantly contributed to the design, standards and systems development of their virtual training environment. Also, as an experienced speaker and trainer, she has facilitated hundreds of courses in both virtual and live settings.
Her coaching clients have included executives, artists, educators, entrepreneurs and business owners; as eclectic a mix, as her various studies. A seasoned corporate executive, she is also an educator, experienced in developing curriculum, articulation standards and matriculation policies. Pamela’s work for coaching in this area has been her contributions to the initial and continuing development of certification standards, criteria and competencies for the art and science of professional Coaching (for/via the International Coaching Federation--ICF).
Pamela is a graduate of California Polytechnic University, with a BA in Political Science; California State University, Fullerton with a MA in Acting/Directing and is a graduate of Coach U, Inc. She is recognized as a Master Certified Coach (MCC), as well as a Professional Mentor Coach and is a past President of the International Coaching Federation Global.
Pamela makes her home in Portland Oregon and has been happily married to Michael Whelan for over 37 years. She has three wonderful children, nine delightful grandchildren and three dynamic beagles!
